Department of Physics

The vibrant department in the institution was established in 2016. The Under Graduate Programme (B.Sc) was started in 2017. The department has been provided with adequate facilities to learn the basic principles of physics, both theoretically and practically. The department has well equipped laboratory with sufficient instruments.

The department provides individual attention for character building, personality development along with educational excellence. The course curriculum covers major operational aspects of respective domains and provides a strong foundation in the core areas.

The department believes in upgrading its curriculum to meet the changing needs of the industry.

• To awaken the young minds and discover their talents both in theory and in practical Physics, through dedication to teach, commitment towards students and innovative instructional methods.
• Provide students with basic skills in solving problems in scientific and technical area of interest.
• To nurture the innovative capabilities of students by providing them with a research platform and exposure to current technologies.

OBJECTIVES

• To understand the concepts and significance of the various physical phenomena.
• To carry out experiments to understand the laws and concepts of Physics.
• Students will be able to solve problems and explain physical phenomena using the basic concepts of advanced mathematics as they apply to physics/engineering.
• Students will apply learning in situations where they develop and hone professional activities that utilize their integrated skill set.
