The Department of Zoology was established in the Year 2020-2021 to provide a supportive environment where students can learn and become experts in zoology, through dedicated teaching and motivation. Zoology is the study of animals wherein the student receives a highly comprehensive exposure to all levels of animal function and their diversity. As a subject it creates enormous interest in us as we are also part of the animal kingdom. This subject has been able to grab the attention of the academic world and biodiversity conservation, formulating ecological safeguards and to apply Biotechnology & Bioinformatics to the field of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical sciences.
We Provide value added Courses like Ornamental Fish Culture, Mushroom Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology. Our department organized National and International Seminars and conferences. Students were exposed to Industrial visit and Educational tour at once in a year. Department has dedicated and knowledge team of staff members to educate the students in excellence in the field of Zoology.

- Our department SHE club (Safety, Health and Environment) club conducted Women’s health awareness programme and tree plantation programme every semester.
- Our department students participated state level inters collegiate competition and won the prize for many events.
